Another Beautiful Sunset In The Sierra

Keith Sauer was our very first blogger at SierraNewsOnline. His photos are beautiful, and his posts are always delightful to read.

Keith has been hiking in the Yosemite area for half a century, and photographing the wildlife in the Sierra and around his home for decades. This beautiful photo is just the latest in a series of the things that catch his eye, and through his amazing skills, translate into fantastic photographs.

Caption: “Hi friends. Tonight’s sunset wasn’t as spectacular as others lately, but still pretty nice. Here’s how it looked from our North Fork house, over Thornberry Ridge.”

Keith is a retired California State University, Fresno professor (B.A. and M.A., University of California, Berkeley in Spanish Literature, and Ph.D. University of Washington in Romance Linguistics), and an amazing photographer with a quirky sense of humor.

North Fork Sunset 2Keith and his wife Pat will be moving over to the coast in a few months, but he will continue to share his adventures with us in the months and years to come.
