Annual Membership Dinner For Sierra Mono Museum

NORTH FORK – The Sierra Mono Museum will be holding their annual membership dinner on Saturday, Nov. 9 at the North Fork School from noon to 2 p.m.

Everyone is invited to enjoy a turkey dinner with all the fixings, plus family fun, a cake walk and a raffle with a grand prize of an iPad mini.

Dinner is just $10, or is free with the purchase of a museum membership for only $25, $15 for youth memberships.

The North Fork Mono Families incorporated in 1966 to form the Sierra Mono Museum for the purpose of preserving Tribal history. The museum offers both static and living history experiences. The doors have been open to the public since 1971, and rely on memberships and support from the community to continue to thrive and preserve the history of the old way of life for some of the original inhabitants of the central Sierra.
