NORTH FORK — One of North Fork’s most delicious events is fast approaching — the Women’s Club will host its 9th annual Chili Cook-Off and Pie & Cake Bake-Off on Saturday, Oct. 15, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., at Bandit Town.
Everyone is invited to taste and vote for their choice of best original chili, pie or cake in this annual friendly competition.
As testers and tasters wander through the enticing aromas and sample the many diverse offerings, they will be entertained by the Narrow Gauge Ramblers.
Hot dogs, wine, beer and sodas will also be available for sale.
There will be cash prizes for the very best entries, plus a chance to take home a prize in the raffles.
Chili tasting for the public is just $5, and all proceeds benefit college scholarships to local female high school graduates.
There will also be chili available for sale to take home.
Bandit Town is located at 55420 Rd 226.
