OAKHURST – Put your paws together for the upcoming Animal Faire at Oakhurst Community Park on Sunday, Oct. 5, from 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The exciting four-legged action is brought to you and your pooch by the Eastern Madera County (EMC) SPCA for the 16th year, and also by Bubbles, the 2014 canine mascot for the Faire.
A one-mile dog walk lovingly referred to as Tails on the Trail starts with sign-ups at 10:30 a.m. and the walk starts at 11 a.m. Sponsorship forms for friends to support walkers are available on the EMC SPCA website.
Keep your ears open for the sounds of a raffle with great prizes. Also on hand will be food, booths, microchipping and a Blessing of the Animals. All proceeds benefit the EMC SPCA shelter project. For more information visit the website or Facebook page.
