The Animal Compassion Team (ACT) foster and adoption Dog of the Week is actually a litter of puppies, with avian names: meet Sparrow, Pigeon, Sandpiper, Chickadee, and Quail.

This is an adorable litter of Dachshund and Terrier mix puppies. Their mom gave birth to seven of the sweetest pups and these five are looking for their forever homes.

They are super friendly and love humans, and they also love other dogs and cats. They’re great in the car and love to play with toys. They are pretty quiet and aren’t puppies who bite at your fingers and toes, very much. Pigeon is the only male and the other four are females.

They’re fixed, micro-chipped, all up-to-date on vaccines and are ready to go to a forever home! They are about 3-6 pounds now and will grow to be 15-25 pounds. As soon as you meet them they will steal your heart. If you think one or more of these pups is the dog for you please fill out an online adoption application for them or contact their foster mom at (559)267-3607 to set up a meet and greet.

Animal Compassion Team

Animal Compassion Team is a nonprofit animal rescue organization whose goal is to save as many homeless pets as possible. We are volunteer based organization and receive no funding from local government.

We believe that all dogs and cats are as individual as adopters and make great effort to help match your family with the pet that is best suited for you.

Through lifelong commitments and healthy fulfilled lives we believe pets are able to become the best they can be and amazing relationships are built.
