ACT Dog Of The Week: Meet Pecan

The Animal Compassion Team (ACT) foster and adoption program introduces likely Vizsla/pit bull-mix, Pecan:

Hi! I’m a super-sweet girl with an amazingly calm yet go-with-the-flow energy. I weigh between 50 and 60 pounds.

The ACT team thinks I am a Vizsla-mix because I have half a tail and a beautiful red/golden coloring. Vizslas originated in Hungary and are known as sporting dogs and loyal companions. I am great in a crate and in the car, too, and I also walk nicely on a leash. I am good with other dogs, but you would need to feed me separately when dinner time comes around because I tend to be protective of my food.

I love to give hugs and cuddles to the humans, and sometimes kisses. A very quiet girl, I just keep to myself, but still can be playful. If you think I am the pup for you please fill out an online adoption application for me or, if you have any questions, contact my ACT person riley.hardison@icloud.com.

Animal Compassion Team is a nonprofit animal rescue organization whose goal is to save as many homeless pets as possible. We are volunteer based organization and receive no funding from local government.

We believe that all dogs and cats are as individual as adopters and make great effort to help match your family with the pet that is best suited for you. Through lifelong commitments and healthy fulfilled lives we believe pets are able to become the best they can be and amazing relationships are built.
