ACT Dog Of The Week: Meet Jaxon

UPDATE — Aug. 20. Thanks to this post, Jaxon has been adopted to a furever home.

Riley says, “Jaxon was the pet of the week last week and someone saw him on Sierra News Online and adopted him. He gets to be an only dog and a pampered dog! He was taken home by an amazing adopter who is buying him so many fun new toys and crate. We love Chihuahua adopters, because we have so many of the breed. She fell in love and knew Jaxon was special. He is her dog but also has children to play with. Thank you!”

The Animal Compassion Team (ACT) foster and adoption program introduces Jaxon and asks the burning question,

“Are you looking for a well behaved puppy who is full of pure love?” Jaxon sure fits that!

Sweet Jaxon is such a wonderful three-month-old Terrier and Chihuahua mix who is about five to eight pounds now and will be about 10-to-13-pounds when full grown.

He is my foster boy and has been using the bathroom outside when I take him out. He also had been doing great in a crate and is mostly crate-trained. He adores dogs of all sizes and isn’t scared of big dogs like most dogs his size are. He also loves cats.

Jaxon is great in the car and loves to take naps. He is a very cuddly puppy who doesn’t bite or nip at your fingers like most.

If you think he is the boy for you please fill out an online adoption application for Jaxon or email foster mom at Riley Hardison at this link. You can also call or text Riley at 1(559)267-3607.
