A Holiday Message from the EMCSPCA

Dear Friends,

During the holiday season, there is so much to be grateful for. As difficult as the last couple of years have been, the EMCSPCA is ending 2021 on a high note!

Image of a puppy and kitten. We are grateful that we are completing the final construction phase of the EMCSPCA Animal Care and Adoption Center. As you know, this has been a very long journey and we have learned many lessons along the way. As we look back we know that although this journey started thirty years ago, now is the right time to reach our goal. So much has changed in animal sheltering and we have been able to take advantage of the successes and failures of other organizations to make sure that our center will provide the best environment possible for our animal guests as they help them find their forever homes. Standards of care are continually evolving and we are committed to following best practices so our animal guests receive the highest level of medical and behavioral care.

Pets belong with families who love them. It is our goal to place pets in the best possible homes by matching the needs of the pets with the needs of their human families.

We are grateful that we have had your support during these challenging times. Because you have supported our efforts, we will open the doors to the dogs and cats of Eastern Madera County within the next few months. It is because of kind-hearted people like you that the EMCSPCA Animal Care and Adoption Center will be a bright light in our community. Your year-end donation will help purchase equipment and medical supplies for the clinic, food and other daily necessities for the dogs and cats,
office furniture and supplies, laptops and tablets for our online shelter management system, and many other items necessary to care for our furry friends.

If you wish to help, you may mail a donation to EMCSPCA, P.O. Box 1314, Oakhurst, CA 93644 or donate online at https://www.emcspca.org/how-to-help/ways-to-give.

As always, your donations are tax-deductible. We look forward to seeing you at the EMCSPCA Animal Care in Adoption Center in the very near future.

We wish you a wonderful Christmas and a safe and healthy 2022!
