Calling All Goblins, Vampires, & Princesses! The 4th Annual Bass Lake Halloween and Fall Carnival is Here Tomorrow!

BASS LAKE — The Pines Resort is calling all the goblins, vampires, princesses, pirates and super heroes to stop by the Pines Village for the 4th Annual Bass Lake Halloween and Fall Carnival.

Just like in the past years, the event will be held tomorrow, Saturday, October 26, from 12:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.

If you’re looking for a safe, fun way for the whole family to celebrate Halloween, look no further. This event will feature a variety of free activities, including carnival games, face painting, crafts, inflatables, and more, perfect for kids any age, including adults who are kids at heart!

‘This year we are adding on more vendors, more carnival games and also some concession stands, so there will be plenty to do for everyone”, said the Event Coordinator, Laura Darling. Children ages 12 and under (and their families) are encouraged to participate in the costume contest! Just wear a costume to the event and stop by the Halloween Photo Booth anytime during the Halloween and Fall Carnival to snap a photo on your phone or camera. Then, email your picture to dpetty@basslake.com before Oct. 31 for a chance to win special prizes in one of the three categories: “The Cutest Costume,” “The Most Creative Costume,” and new this year, “Best Family Costume.”

Terms of participation will be available on The Pines’ website BassLake.com as well as Facebook.com/pinesresort. Lucky winners will enjoy gift cards for Ducey’s on the Lake.

During the event kids can go trick or treating in The Pines Village. This event is great for families looking for a safe, friendly, trick or treating environment, particularly for those with younger children. If you’re looking to warm up or fuel up during the event be sure to stop by The Pines Market. There will be a number of other seasonal goodies and carnival food.

While there will be plenty of family-friendly activities to participate in, there will also be several events geared towards adults 21+ that you won’t want to miss. Grown ups are invited to visit the beer garden, where guests can enjoy a sampling of some seasonal brews and year-round favorites.

DJ Fig Production, will be the host and entertainer for the event. Also, new this year, they will have a number of new local vendors, who will be hosting activities for families (fee may apply.)

If that isn’t enough, let’s not forget about The Pines Village Arts & Crafts Fair happening throughout the weekend. This is one of the area’s most popular events, guests can browse vendors, chat with artists and craftsmen, and shop for a variety of locally made goods, including local photography, wood crafts, handmade jewelry and clothing, ceramics, and more. Stop by The Pines Village between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. Friday through Sunday to check it out. If you are coming specifically for the Craft Fair, consider stopping by on Friday or Sunday, as Saturday will be real busy.
