This year also introduces a special community-driven honor: Wayne Tex is named Grand Marshal. This is the first time the community nominated and then voted, making this recognition truly by the people, for the people.

Special guests will also be in attendance Friday night, including Riverside County Sheriff Chad Bianco, alongside Madera County Sheriff Tyson Pogue and several Madera County leaders: Jordan Wamhoff, Frank Bigelow, Leticia Gonzalez, Melanie Barker, and Brook Allen, with additional attendance anticipated from Robert Macaulay, David Rogers, and Robert Poythress.

Their presence reflects the strength and unity of a small community with a big heart. As one of the oldest traditions in the county, the Coarsegold Rodeo continues to grow while bringing together leaders, families, and community members in celebration of heritage, pride, and the western way of life.

Beyond the arena, guests can enjoy a full family-friendly atmosphere, including a mechanical bull, kids’ slides, a wide variety of vendors, and delicious food from across the Valley.

With beautiful weather in the forecast, it’s the perfect time to gather with family and friends and experience one of the region’s most cherished traditions.
