42nd Annual Fish Camp Volunteer Fire Department Pot Luck

FISH CAMP — Come visit with your neighbors and support your local fire department on Saturday, July 7, at 11:30 a.m. as the Fish Camp Volunteer Fire Association sponsors a potluck get-together at the new Firehouse.

This will be a great opportunity for residents to get updates on how they can help with fire preparedness activities in their community.

The inimitable historian and piano entertainer Tom Bopp will be on hand to tickle the ivories and sometimes the funny bones. If you’re feeling lucky, look for three chances to win the Split the Pot 50/50 raffle drawing.

Soft drinks, water and table service will be provided (alcoholic drinks are not allowed at the firehouse). Attendees are asked to bring a main dish, side dish, veggies, salad or dessert to share, and a serving utensil. Organizers will have a hot grill fired up and guests are welcome to BYO on the BBQ.

The event is expected to run until about 2:30 p.m.

While those planning to attend don’t need to RSVP, organizers encourage everyone to do so, to help them estimate how many people will be there and what kind of dish they will be bringing.

For more information or to RSVP please contact Jacquie Hale, Secretary, (559) 683-5699 or via email jacqui.hale@gmail.com.

The fire station is located at 7742 Forest Drive in Fish Camp. Take Highway 41 to Summit Drive and follow the signs to the new fire station. Make this the best social event of the year in Fish Camp!
