Festivities start at 4 p.m. with holiday music, a holiday bazaar, raffle, and free kid’s bike raffle. That’s followed by the electric Parade of Lights at about 6 p.m., along with a planned 6:30 p.m. tree lighting and the much-anticipated arrival of Santa. Times are approximate because, you know, Santa is a busy guy this time of year.

Santa will accommodate kids who have requests to speak with him, say organizers, and the mama-razzi and paparazzi are welcome to bring their own cameras, to take pictures in the Cedar Room.

Also at Bass Lake, don’t miss The Pines Village Holiday Bazaar and Arts & Craft Fair open the entire Thanksgiving weekend from Friday, Nov. 25 through Sunday, Nov. 27. Admission is free.

If you would like to participate in the parade, please submit an application by Nov. 25.

“It’s a fun and festive way to kick off the holiday season with your family,” say organizers, and also a wonderful opportunity to promote your business or organization. The cost $20 per float.
