2020 Native American Youth Conference

MADERA COUNTY MOUNTAIN COMMUNITIES – Hil-le Hil-le, Fresno State Outreach and Special Programs is pleased to announce that the 2020 Native American Youth Conference will be held on Friday, September 18, 2020 from 9:00 am – 1:00 pm via Zoom for a virtual experience. The conference is open to 6th-12th grade Native American students from all school districts and parents are welcomed to join us online.

The keynote speaker,  Darlene Franco (Wukchumni) Native Wellness Director at Fresno American Indian Health Project, will be joined by Fresno State Native American student panel, special guest speaker Dr. Leece Lee-Oliver Director of American Indian Studies, cultural sharing of traditional songs, and college readiness workshops!

In addition to going virtual this year the students will have access to a separate conference website to be used as the main hub that includes registration, conference agenda, virtual tours, resource fair information, and other announcements as we move forward.
