YOSEMITE — Congratulations to 8th grader Soledad Lemus and 7th grader Lila Oster for being accepted for publication into the 2019 National Young Writers Anthology, Issue One.
Soledad’s work, The Black and Blue Ritual, and Lila’s work, ok, will be available in print and eBook in December.
Proper Publishing hosted their first national writing contest for middle and high school students. Students could submit poetry, flash fiction, short story, or essay. The theme this year was BLACK AND BLUE.
Proper Publishing was looking for raw talent, creativity with the theme and writing in its purest form. Student works that were accepted will be published in an anthology and available on Amazon Worldwide and Kindle Worldwide.
The book is scheduled to be published before Christmas.
