2015-16 Yosemite FFA Officers

2015-16 Officers Team Yosemite FFASubmitted by Shellee Hance

OAKHURST – Yosemite High School junior Courtney Herrera is our 2015-2016 Chapter President and is beginning her third year of FFA. Courtney’s past accomplishments include being the 2014-2015 Chapter Reporter, Star Greenhand, Chapter Farmer, and is slated for regional and sectional offices. Courtney has parcipacted in numerous speaking contests such as Creed and Improv and has showed market goats and hogs at the Madera & Chowcilla Fairs.

YHS senior Helena Johnson Lusk is our 2015-2016 Chapter Vice President, beginning her second year of FFA. Helena’s past accomplishments include competing on the Chapter Farm Records team at field days, and getting her Greenhand Degree. Helena has showed hogs for Chowchilla Fair and is currently raising another hog to show at Madera Fair. Helena has also attended the California State Conference for FFA.

2015-16 Officers Team Yosemite FFA 3Sophomore Ellen Rosasco is our 2015-2016 Chapter Secretary, beginning her second year of FFA. Ellen’s past accomplishments include being the first freshman to be one of Yosemite’s FFA officer’s, getting her Greenhand Degree, competing on BIG for FFA, and receiving the Star Greenhand award. Ellen has showed hogs for Chowchilla Fair and is currently raising another hog to show at Madera Fair.

YHS junior Joe Sible is our 2015-2016 Chapter Treasurer, beginning his second year in FFA. Joe’s past accomplishments include attending the California State Conference for FFA as a Delegate, getting his Greenhand Degree, and Participating at MFE/ALA. Joe has showed hogs for Chowchilla Fair and is currently raising another hog to show at Madera Fair.

Shellee’s past accomplishments include competing in sectional Creed Speaking, and getting her Greenhand Degree. Shellee has attended the California State Conference for FFA. Shellee is currently raising a hog to show at Madera Fair.

Sophomore Corin Lemont is our 2015-2016 Chapter Sential, beginning her second year in FFA. Corin’s past accomplishments include getting her Greenhand Degree and competing on BIG for FFA. Corin has attended the California State Conference for FFA and has showed hogs for Chowcilla Fair. She is currently raising another hog to show at Madera Fair.
