OAKHURST — Join Yosemite Western Artists for their most important annual art exhibition and competition of the year. It’s the 45th Tri-County Art Show, with a reception on Saturday, Apr. 22 from 4 to 6 p.m. at Gallery 5 in Oakhurst. The exhibit runs through April 30.
Oil, acrylic, watercolor, pastel, mixed media, drawing, photography, sculpture and other three-dimensional artwork are included in the show.
Ribbons will be awarded by the judges for Best of Show and First Place in each category, with a $100 cash prize for Best of Show, and $50 prizes awarded to First Place recipients in each category.
Hours for the Yosemite Western Artists Trip County Show exhibit are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., except for Saturday, April 22 (10 a.m. to 6 p.m.) and Sunday, April 30 (10 a.m. to 3 p.m.). Gallery 5 is a fine art gallery dedicated to special exhibits, workshops and events in Eastern Madera County. It’s located at 40982 Hwy 41, Suite 5.
The reception and exhibition are free and open to the public.
