YHS FFA Week sign 2016Submitted by Courtney Herrera

OAKHURST — With Spring semester in full swing, Yosemite FFA is busier than ever. We are proud to be hosting National FFA Week on campus from Monday through Friday, Feb. 22 – 26. This year’s theme is “On a Mission to Save the Tradition,” and we will have dress-up days such as Patriotic Day, and play games including Jenga.

By hosting National FFA Week on campus, we are able to raise awareness of agriculture to students not in the FFA, all while engaging in fun activities. The Yosemite FFA encourages all students to participate in FFA week by dressing up according to each day’s theme and participating in lunch time activities!

Dress up days and activities:

Monday, February 22- Teacher Day
Lunch Time Event- Something in the Straw
Tuesday, February 23- Lumber Jack Day
Lunch Time Event- Scavenger Hunt
Wednesday, February 24- Patriotic Day
Lunch Time Event- Obstacle Course
The chapter will hold their monthly meeting after school, and go to John’s Incredible Pizza for Sectional FFA Activity.
Thursday, February 25- Honky Tonk Day
Lunch Time Event- Life Size Jenga
Friday, February 26- White Out/ FFA Badger Spirit Day
Lunch Time Event- Kiss The Pig
