Sober Grad 2016 Yosemite High Shawnessy and Kim

OAKHURST — It takes a village to put on a successful Sober Grad night, and all the members of that village came together on behalf of Yosemite High’s Class of 2016 overnight from Wednesday, June 8 to 6 a.m. on Thursday, June 9.

The YHS PTA organizes Sober Grad and wants to say the biggest thank you to all of the incredibly generous supporters for another great year.

“A huge shout-out to all of our Sober Grad volunteers! Another wonderful Sober Grad Night in the books. Thank you to our parent volunteers, we couldn’t do it with out you. To our teacher and staff volunteers — you are priceless.

“All who participated have gone above and beyond and are appreciated more than words can express. We’d also like to thank all the graduates. You are amazing, as always. You are some of the best kids we have ever had the pleasure of knowing.

“Finally to this wonderful community: without your support and generous donations we would never be able to put on this wonderful event and special evening.” – Kimberly Smith, Shawnessy Gaynor and the small-but-mighty Sober Grad Committee.
