YHS Sober Grad Returns To Camp Oakhurst

OAKHURST – Members of the Yosemite High School PTA are already busy organizing plans for this year’s Sober Grad for graduating seniors. Sober Grad is set for Thursday, June 8, when it returns to Camp Oakhurst, immediately following Yosemite High School’s graduation ceremony.

The annual event marks an opportunity for parents and the community to participate in giving local students a memorable night out followed by a safe ride home. Camp Oakhurst is located at 36611 Mudge Ranch Road in Coarsegold. The committee is now seeking donations.

“As in years past, we have been able to give away many great prizes due to the generosity of our community, local service organizations, and local businesses,” says Kim.”Some of those prizes have included small appliances, gift cards, sporting goods, dorm room accessorizes, bikes, and cash. We are seeking donations for another successful Sober Grad.”

The Sober Grad Committee meets monthly on Mondays: April 3, May 8, June 5, at Round Table Pizza in Oakhurst.

If you are able to donate please contact Kim at (559) 760-5202 and arrangements will be made to pick-up your donation. If you would like to mail in a donation, please make checks payable to: Yosemite High School PTA, 50200 Road 427, Oakhurst, CA 93644.
