Yet Another Fire In YLP On Revis Drive

YOSEMITE LAKES PARK – In what seemed like a repeat performance of a dispatch on Saturday, May 18, firefighters once again responded to a fire off Revis Drive in YLP.

At about 8:30 p.m. on Wednesday, May 22, crews were called out to a fire burning just feet behind a home at 43114 Revis Circle East.

Ken Jackson, who lives at the address, says he was sitting at his computer when he heard neighbors hollering, and his dog barking. He went to the back of his house and saw the glow on the hill just outside his fence.

Jackson says the fire was burning just to the north of a pile of rocks where firefighters had stopped a fire last Saturday night.

According to Incident Commander Shaun Fairbanks this fire actually burned into the area charred by the fire a few days ago.

The blaze was contained at .65 acres, and crews had it controlled within just a few hours.
