NORTH FORK – Wine and Cheese in the Garden is returning Sunday, May 6, as Chawanakee Children’s Foundation hosts their annual spring fundraiser in the North Fork School garden.
Come enjoy wine and hors d’oeuvres in North Fork School’s organic garden from 2 to 5 p.m. Hansel Kern and Kern Family Farm volunteers will be giving guided tours of a flourishing garden that provides both a dynamic learning environment as well as fruits and vegetables for students to enjoy in the cafeteria daily.
Sip, socialize, and relax with live music provided by Sugar Pine. The cost is just $10, and includes two glasses of wine and hors d’oeuvres, plus a tour of the garden.
Free childcare will be provided, and you must be 21 years or older to participate.
All proceeds support North Fork School Garden and Chawanakee Children’s Foundation student support grants.
Tickets are available at North Fork School, Spring Valley School, Minarets High School, the Gnarly Carrot Market, and at the gate.
