Wandering The Madera Wine Trails Weekend

MADERA COUNTY — Wine and chocolate tasters enjoyed the 16th annual Madera Wine Trail’s Wine and Chocolate offerings last weekend, traveling to eight Madera County wineries over two spectacular days to enjoy local award-winning wines.

Birdstone Winery, Fasi Estate Winery, Ficklin Winery, Idle Hour Winery, Papagni Wines, San Joaquin Wine Co., Toca Madera Winery, and Westbrook Wine Farm participated. Tasters sampled gourmet chocolates, enjoyed live music, shopped from specialty gift vendors and indulged in delicious food from area restaurants and food trucks.

It just goes to show, there is something for everyone on the Wine Trail. “Even an alpaca made an appearance at Idle Hour,” says Therese Williams, Executive Administrator for the event. Missed it? There’s always next time.

More wine trail happenings will be scheduled throughout the year, Therese adds, and more information can be found by visiting www.MaderaWineTrail.com
