OAKHURST – Oakhurst Feed & Pet Supply’s non-profit pet food bank will have its first food distribution Saturday, July 19, from 10 a.m. to noon.
Proof of need, proof of current vaccinations and proof of spay/neuter is required, although food will be distributed on this first go-round with just proof of need*.
Vaccinations will be offered on site for free. Information will be distributed for low cost and/or free spay/neuters.
Organizers are asking for the community’s help! Oakhurst Feed & Wild Wonderful Women need 15 volunteers to train and then assist in their Community Outreach ~ the Pawsitively Full Pet Food Bank.
Volunteers need to attend a volunteer training session on Saturday, July 12 at noon at Oakhurst Feed & Pet Supply. Please call the store to sign up. 559-683-7977.
