Voice Your Opinion On PG&E Rate Increase

FRESNO — The California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC) is holding two Public Participation Hearings in Fresno on PG&E’s 2017 General Rate Case request to increase its rates effective Jan. 1, 2017.

These two free public meetings will be on Tuesday July 12, at 1 p.m. and 6 p.m. at the Fresno City Council Chambers, 2600 Fresno Street.

If PG&E’s rate request is approved by the CPUC, PG&E would increase revenue $333 million in 2017, followed by an additional increase of $469 million in 2018, and an additional increase of $368 million in 2019.

Please bring your comments – and your neighbors – to express your views to the CPUC about PG&E’s request to increase its rates. What do you think of PG&E’s service? What are your thoughts on PG&E’s rate request? The CPUC wants to hear from you.
