Two Vehicle Accident On Revis, Woman Airlifted

YOSEMITE LAKES PARK – Two vehicles collided at the intersection of Revis Road and West Revis Circle on Wednesday, July 31, resulting in injuries to one driver.

A teen driver and passenger were southbound on Revis Road at about 1 p.m. in a 1998 Dodge Ram 2500 pickup.

Carolyn Enlow, 72, of Ahwahnee had reportedly been visiting a friend on West Revis Circle, and pulled out onto Revis Drive directly into the path of the oncoming pickup, according to CHP.

1999 Honda AccordEnlow was pinned in her 1999 Honda Accord, and had to be extracated from the vehicle by firefighters using the Jaws of Life.

She was transported by Sierra Ambulance to the YLP Clubhouse where she was taken by SkyLife air ambulance to Community Regional Medical Center in what was described as serious condition with possible chest and internal injuries.

Revis Road was closed for over an hour while paramedics worked to transport the injured, and the scene was cleared.

Cal Fire Engine 4295, Madera County Fire Engine 13 and Squad 10 responded to the accident.
