Two In Custody After North Fork Pot Bust

NORTH FORK — Over 18,000 marijuana plants were eradicated during a major bust in the North Fork area last Friday, and two suspects were taken into custody.

Sheriff’s deputies and U.S. Forest Service law enforcement descended on a property east of North Fork along Road 225, just after 7:30 a.m. on Aug. 26, to eradicate a large grow.

Mary Grillett, 37, and Jack Collier, 60, both of North Fork, were arrested on multiple charges, including possession of a controlled substance for sale, possession of  marijuana for sale, and cultivating or processing marijuana. Collier has also been charged with being a felon in possession of a firearm.

Each is being held on a $150,000 bond.
