BASS LAKE — Madera County District 5 Supervisor Tom Wheeler will host the next in his series of Town Hall meetings on Thursday, Aug. 11, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Pines Resort in Bass Lake.
Presentations will include Bass Lake District Ranger Denise Tolmie and Fuels Specialist Burt Stalter, Board Member of the Coarsegold Resource Conservation District Anne Melrose, and Executive Director of Court Appointed Special Advocates Nathan Lee.
Also on the agenda is Dexter Marr of Environmental Health discussing Onsite Wastewater Treatment Systems, and representatives of Cal Fire.
There will be time after the presentations for questions and answers on issues of concern to residents.
Tom wants to let folks know that Congressman Tom McClintock will also be hosting a Town Hall meeting, this one on Thursday, Aug. 18, at the North Fork Town Hall at 5 p.m. More details will be provided at the Aug. 11 meeting in Bass Lake.
