MARIPOSA COUNTY — The Mariposa County Sheriff’s Office has identified the suspects in a home invasion robbery that took place on Dec. 22, 2015.

On that date, the Mariposa County Emergency Dispatch Center received a 911 call from a residence in the Mount Bullion area of Mariposa County. The caller reported several men entered their home brandishing a shotgun and a handgun, tied up the occupants of the home, including three juveniles.

Reportedly, the suspects removed upwards of 25 pounds of processed marijuana, cash and guns from the home.

The homeowners were able to identify one suspect as Buddy Dustin, 25, of Los Banos, informing Mariposa County Sheriff Detectives that Dustin lived at the home with them in the past.

Detectives then initiated a BOL (Be On the Lookout) for Dustin, to the surrounding counties and law enforcement agencies. The Los Banos Police Department was able to locate Dustin at a home in Los Banos and detained him until Mariposa County Sheriff personnel arrived.

Buddy Dustin was arrested and booked into the Mariposa County Adult Detention Facility. His bail is currently set at $500,000 and he is being held on charges of Robbery in the First Degree, Felony Kidnapping, Robbery, and First Degree Burglary.

The other suspects have been identified as Frank Bracamonte Garcia, 47, of Los Banos, who is in custody and being held on a $600,000 bail.

A $500,000 warrant has been issued for Manuel Escobar, 22, of Los Banos / Hughson; and also for Preston Villines, 36, of San Jose.

Due to the relationship between the suspects and the victims this does not appear to be a random act.
