Supervisor Farinelli And Tea Party Host Town Hall

MADERA – Madera County Supervisor Rick Farinelli and the Madera chapter of the Central Valley Tea Party will be hosting a town hall on Tuesday, Oct. 20, from 6 to 8 p.m. at VFW Post #1981, 2026 N. Granada Drive in Madera.

The town hall will feature California Assemblymen Frank Bigelow and Jim Patterson, who will give an update on some of the new laws coming out of Sacramento and hear constituent concerns. The town hall is open to all members of the public, free of charge.

“It has been another major year in Sacramento, with new laws regulating groundwater adjudication, permitting doctor-assisted suicide, and massive new green energy mandates,” Supervisor Farinelli said. “We are very pleased to have both Assemblymen Patterson and Bigelow come to Madera to hear our concerns. Both have fought very hard for Valley residents.”

The Central Valley Tea Party is co-sponsoring “to help educate their members and the community at large about the impacts of Sacramento-based legislation on the lives of valley residents.”

Light refreshments will be served.
