Streets Close To Keep Trick-Or-Treaters Safe

MARIPOSA – The Mariposa County Sheriff’s Office will be closing 9th & 10th Street between Bullion and Jones Street in order to insure the safety of children during the Halloween festivities in the court house / residential area of Mariposa between 4:30 and 7 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 31.

“We will not be closing Bullion and Jones Streets as we have done in the past,” says the Sheriff’s Office. “We will have crossing guards throughout the down town business district along Highway 140 to assist trick-or-treaters across the busy highway.”

The Sheriff’s Office invites everyone to “come by and see us” at the Mariposa Safe Families 2nd annual Trunk or Treat held at the Mariposa County Court House from 4:30 to 7 p.m. There will be many activities for all the trick-or-treaters.

If you have any questions or concerns please feel free to contact the Sheriff’s Office at 209-966-3615.
