Small Business Seminar And Resource Expo

OAKHURST — Small business owners and entrepreneurs in the area are invited to a pair of free events happening at the Oakhurst Community Center on the same day. Registration is separate for each event, and both take place on Wednesday, April 5.

Part one is presented by the State Board of Equalization and part two, which includes a free lunch, is sponsored by the Madera County Economic Development Commission (EDC) and its Chamber Alliance Committee.

Part One

The first half of the day is a Small Business Tax Seminar and Resource Expo sponsored by the State Board of Equalization (BOE). Interested parties may register directly with the State Board of Equalization to be included in this morning seminar from 8:30 a.m. to noon. Register online or by phone at (888) 847-9652.

Part Two

The second half of the day is a free Small Business Seminar and Resource Expo scheduled immediately after the BOE function. This event is sponsored by the Madera County Economic Development Commission and its Chamber Alliance Committee, which includes representatives from the Chambers of Commerce for Bass Lake, Coarsegold, North Fork and Oakhurst. A complimentary lunch is also included with registration.
