OAKHURST — After nearly seven years in business, Slim’s Koffee Shak in North Fork is closing its doors at the end of business today.
The Oakhurst location will also be closing today after a 2-1/2 year run in the Silver Creek Center.
The shop in Mariposa closed about two months ago when the building was sold and the new owners rented the building to someone else, forcing Slim’s out.
Slim’s Koffee Shak, a home-grown mountain bistro, has been a vital part of both communities for several years, serving up fresh food, much of it from local sources.
Owner Scott Marsh wants to thank everyone for “seven years of love, loyalty and friendship.”
“After taking into consideration a multitude of factors, we have decided that right now is the appropriate time to wind down,” says Scott. “We wish all in our community the best through the holidays and a blessed New Year!”
