MARIPOSA – Everyone loves to look at the photos at the Mariposa County Fair, held over the Labor Day weekend from Aug. 30 to Sept. 2. Why not enter your pictures this year?
The Mariposa Photo Club, cooperating with the fairgrounds, is offering two free workshops on how to mount your photos properly for submission.
The workshops will be Aug. 3 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., and Aug. 16 from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Mariposa County Fairgrounds. A specific site at the fairgrounds has not been chosen.
Aug. 3 is the last day to submit entry forms, and Aug. 16 and 17 are the last days to deliver your entries to the fairgrounds.
Mariposa Photo Club members will help you with mounting and will have mounting boards available for purchase: 16×20 for $2.50, and 8×10 for $1.50. Boards are also available by calling (949) 233-8881.
