Sheriff’s Local Crime Log Through Oct. 9

MADERA COUNTY – Following are details from the Madera County Sheriff’s Office of reports taken locally from Monday, Oct. 3 to Sunday, Oct. 9, 2016:

Oakhurst lewd activity
On Monday, Oct. 3 at 10:58 a.m. a deputy was dispatched to the Oakhurst substation a regarding possible lewd act that occurred in the 40000 block of Red Bud. A report was taken and the case was to be forwarded to detectives for follow up.

Oakhurst fraud
On Monday, Oct. 3 at 12:43 p.m. a deputy responded to the 40700 block of Road 425A regarding possible fraud. The victim was contacted and information obtained. A report was taken to document this report.

North Fork coroner’s report
On Monday, Oct. 3 at 1:09 p.m. deputies were dispatched to the 30000 block of Wyle Ranch Way regarding an agency assist. Prior to the deputies’ arrival EMS called and advised they had a deceased person. Upon arrival, family advised the decedent had been dealing with multiple medical issues. It was determined the subject had passed away due to natural causes.

Coarsegold threats
On Monday, Oct. 3 at 5:27 p.m. a deputy was dispatched to the 28000 block of Copper Creek Drive regarding possible threats. After completing the investigation a male subject was arrested. Case will be forwarded to the District Attorney’s Office.

Coarsegold danger to self
On Tuesday, Oct. 4 at 6:49 a.m. a deputy was dispatched to the 29000 block of Revis Road in regards to an out of control subject. The subject was determined to be a danger to himself and a protective hold was placed on the subkect. Recommended to close the case.

Oakhurst marijiana on campus
On Tuesday, Oct. 4 at 2:05 p.m. a school teacher at the campus located at the 50000 block of Road 427 in Oakhurst reported that his classroom smelled like marijuana. School staff and the School Resource Deputy conducted an investigation and located the source of the marijuana smell. At the completion of the investigation charges will be forwarded to the Madera County Juvenile Probation.

Coarsegold coroner’s case
On Tuesday, Oct. 4 at 3:50 p.m. a deputy was dispatched to a residence in the 29000 block of Horseshoe Drive for a coroner’s case. A report was taken and forwarded to coroner’s division.

Ahwahnee warrant and drugs
On Wednesday, Oct. 5 at 8:14 a.m. deputies were dispatched to a residence in the 43000 block of Peterson Road in regards to trespassers. A subject was contacted and arrested for an outstanding arrest warrant and drug violations. The subject was booked into jail. Forward the case to the Madera County DA Office for charges.

Oakhurst report of vandalism
On Wednesday, Oct. 5 at 8:54 a.m. a deputy was dispatched to the block of 40000 Enterprise Drive regarding possible vandalism to a boat. A report was taken for documentation and there did not appear to be any apparent damage. Refer report closed.

Coarsegold coroner’s report
On Wednesday, Oct. 5 at 11:46 a.m. a deputy was dispatched to the 31000 block of Apache Road regarding a coroner’s case. The case is to be forwarded to the Chief Deputy Coroner.

Coarsegold warrant arrests
On Thursday, Oct. 6 at 8:18 a.m. a deputy was dispatched to a residence in the 43000 block of Wildflower Court regarding subjects who were inside the home without permission. Two subjects were located inside the residence watching television. The homeowner requested no charges because they were family. The two subjects both had outstanding warrants for their arrest and they were transported to MDOC without incident. Refer report closed.

Raymond fraud
On Thursday, Oct. 6 at 8:52 a.m. a deputy was dispatched to a residence in the 43000 block of Road 812 in regards to a fraud. A was report taken and it was recommended to close the case.

Oakhurst firearm turned in
On Thursday, Oct. 6 at 10:33 a.m. a deputy was dispatched to the 48000 block of Liberty Drive regarding a subject who wanted to turn in a firearm as requested by Santa Clara Court. He was given a property receipt for the firearm. Refer report closed.

Coarsegold restraining order violation
On Thursday, Oct. 6 at 8:58 a.m. a deputy was dispatched to contact a female in the 49000 block of Cavin Lane regarding a report of a violation of a domestic violence restraining order. Report is to be forward to the District Attorney for filing charges.

Raymond domestic disturbance
On Thursday, Oct. 6 at 1:04 p.m. a deputy was dispatched to the block of 33000 Road 613 regarding a female subject who would not leave the residence and had pushed the door on her father. She was intoxicated and extremely combative. She was placed under a mental health evaluation hold and told not to come back to the residence. Refer report closed.

North Fork domestic violence
On Thursday, Oct. 6 at 2:43 p.m a deputy was dispatched to the 54000 block regarding a domestic disturbance. At the
request of the involved male a report is to be forwarded the District Attorney for review of filing charges.

Ahwahnee domestic violence
On Thursday, Oct. 6 at 5:11 p.m. deputies responded to the 42000 block of Primrose Lane for a domestic violence incident. Upon arrival a male subject was placed under arrest for domestic violence. The subject was transported and booked into Madera County Jail.

Coarsegold rape
On Thursday, Oct. 6 at 10 p.m. a deputy was dispatched to the 40000 block of Seminole Court regarding a report of sexual assault. During the investigation a suspect was identified. A case report was written and forwarded to detectives for further investigation.

Oakhurst woman in distress
On Friday, Oct. 7 at 8:15 a.m. a deputy was dispatched to the block of 46000 Beechwood Drive regarding a female caller who said that someone was inside her home. It was clear that she was seeing things that were not there. She was not making any sense and said that she had fallen due to an earthquake. EMS transported her to the hospital for mental health evaluation.

Oakhurst disturbance and public intoxication
On Saturday, Oct. 8 at 5:07 p.m. deputies were flagged down by a citizen regarding a possible domestic disturbance in the 40000 block of CA Highway 41. Upon arrival deputies contacted three subjects in the area. Further investigation determined the domestic was unfounded but one of the subject was found to be intoxicated and had a prior trespass from the area. The subject was subsequently taken into custody on the charges.

Oakhurst public intoxication
On Sunday, Oct. 9 at 2:51 p.m. a deputy was dispatched to the 40000 block of Highway 41 for a male subject that was intoxicated and causing a disturbance. The male was contacted and later booked into the Madera County DOC for being intoxicated in public.

Oakhurst threats
On Sunday, Oct. 9 at 8:02 a.m. a deputy was dispatched to the 40000 block of Highway 41 in regards to threats made in a parking lot of a business. A report was taken and the case to be closed.

North Fork narcotics
On Sunday, Oct. 9 at 8:18 p.m. a deputy was dispatched to the 59000 block of Wind Dancer Way for a report of two males in a verbal argument over some property. After an investigation one of the male was later found to be in possession of drugs. The male was later booked into the Madera County DOC and booked on drug related charges.
