Sheriff’s Crime Log Through Nov. 5

MADERA COUNTY – Following are details from the Madera County Sheriff’s Office of reports taken locally from Monday, Oct. 30  to Sunday, Nov. 5, 2017.

Oakhurst lost medication
On Monday, Oct. 3o at 2:18 p.m. a deputy was dispatched to the 51000 block of Ponderosa Way in regards to a report of lost medication. Case to be closed.

Oakhurst warrant citation
On Monday, Oct. 3o at 3:39 p.m. at the 40000 block of CA-41, a deputy was conducting a self-initiated patrol check searching for a suspect. While conducting a subject check Madera County warrants were discovered. The subject was cited and released and a report was written.

Coarsegold missing juvenile
On Monday, Oct. 3o a deputy was dispatched to the 29000 block of Glacier Drive in regards to a missing juvenile. Interviews were conducted, photos were taken, and information collected regarding the missing juvenile, a missing persons entry was made and a report was written.

North Fork theft
On Monday, Oct. 3o at 5:10 p.m. a deputy was dispatched to the 33000 block of Road 228, regarding a report of a theft. This case has been suspended, pending investigative leads.

North Fork vandalism
On Monday, Oct. 3o at 5:23 p.m. a deputy was dispatched to a residence located within the 33000 block of Willow Creek Drive regarding a report of a vandalism. This case has been forwarded to the Madera County DA’s Office for the filing of related charge.

Coarsegold Silver Alert for missing child 
On Monday, Oct. 3o at 8:49 p.m. deputies were dispatched to the 30000 block of Ca-41 for a missing person report. An investigation was conducted and a possible child abduction occurred. The victim was entered into the missing persons system and a Silver Alert was put out on the suspect and suspect vehicle.

North Fork emergency order of protection issued
On Tuesday, Oct. 31 at 8:31 a.m. a deputy was dispatched to the 53000 block of Chipo Poyah for an out of control subject. The subject was located and a Emergency Protection Order was served and the subject was arrested on new charges and probation hold. Forward to DA and probation.

Coarsegold criminal threats
On Tuesday, Oct. 31 at 8:24 a.m. a deputy was dispatched to the 35000 block of Texas Flat Miner Road regarding criminal threats. After concluding the investigation a male subject was arrested and booked into DOC. Forward case to Madera District Attorney’s Office for charges.

Oakhurst credit card fraud
On Tuesday, Oct. 31 at 10:42 a.m. a deputy was dispatched to the lobby of the Sheriff’s Office in regards to a report of fraudulent use of a debit card in the 40000 block of CA-49. No suspect info or other evidence. Case can be closed.

Coarsegold threats
On Tuesday, Oct. 31 at 2:09 p.m. a deputy was dispatched to the 46000 block of Road 415 in regarding threats. A report was taken and both subjects were contacted. Close the case.

Oakhurst warrant arrest, vehicle towed
On Wednesday, Nov. 1 at 8:02 a.m. a deputy conducted a routine vehicle enforcement stop in the area of Junction Dr / Hwy 49 in Oakhurst which resulted in a subject being arrested for outstanding arrest warrants and the vehicle towed. Close the case.

Oakhurst theft of a cast iron pot
On Wednesday, Nov. 1 at 9:44 a.m. a deputy was dispatched to the block of 42000 W. Oak Lane regarding theft of a cast iron pot from the front yard of a residence. Report taken for documentation. Refer report suspended until further leads develop.

Oakhurst burglary
On Wednesday, Nov. 1 at 1:24 p.m. a deputy was dispatched to the 49000 block of Road 426 regarding a burglary. The victim stated that someone stole a cell phone from the business. Refer report suspended until further leads develop.

Coarsegold warrant arrest with narcotics violations
On Wednesday, Nov. 1 at 2:09 p.m. a deputy conducted a routine traffic enforcement stop on a vehicle in the area of Rd 420 / CA 41 which resulted in the driver being arrested for an outstanding arrest warrant and narcotics violations. Forward to DA for charges.

Coarsegold domestic dispute
On Wednesday, Nov. 1 at 7:11 p.m. a deputy was dispatched to the 28000 block of Margaret Road regarding a domestic dispute. Report was written for informational purposes and case was closed.

Coarsegold domestic violence
On Thursday, Nov. 2 at 1:38 a.m. a deputy was dispatched to the 46000 block of Lucky Lane regarding a domestic dispute. Male half was arrested and transported to the Madera County Department of Corrections. Female was granted an emergency order of protection and the male was served. Report was written and forwarded to the District Attorney’s Office.

Oakhurst theft
On Thursday, Nov. 2 at 1:29 p.m. a deputy was dispatched to the 40000 block of CA 41 in Oakhurst regarding a theft. A report was taken. Close the case.

Oakhurst warrant arrest
On Thursday, Nov. 2 at 1:41 p.m. a deputy contacted a subject in the area of CA 41 / Hwy 49 which resulted in the subject being arrested and booked on an outstanding warrant. Close the case.

Coarsegold threat to elderly woman from son
On Thursday, Nov. 2 at 7:38 p.m. a deputy was dispatched to the 35000 block of Texas Flat Mine Road to contact an elderly female regards threats she received from her son, 31. The suspect was arrested and booked for criminal threats and violating an emergency protective order. Case to be forwarded to the District Attorney for filing charges.

North Fork danger to self
On Friday, Nov. 3 at 9:36 a.m. deputies were dispatched to the 33000 block of Road 222 in North Fork regarding a female firing off weapons. The subject was determined to be a danger to herself and others. A protective hold placed. The female was transported for treatment.

Coarsegold narcotics and probation hold
On Friday, Nov. 3 at 1:24 p.m. a deputy contacted a probationer in the area of Big Sandy Drive who was arrested for narcotic violation and probation hold. The subject arrested and booked. Forward to the DA and probation.

North Fork harassing words online
On Friday, Nov. 3 at 3:51 p.m. a deputy was dispatched to the 36000 block of Toku Poyah regarding possible harassing words posted on a public web site. Refer report closed.

Coarsegold burglary
On Friday, Nov. 3 at 11:51 p.m. a deputy was dispatched to the 35000 block of CA-41 regarding a report of a possible in progress burglary. An adult male was arrested and booked for possession of burglary tools and prowling. Report to be forwarded to the District Attorney for filing charges.

Oakhurst vandalism
On Saturday, Nov. 4 at 11:08 a.m. a deputy was dispatched to the 41000 block of Hwy 41 in regarding vandalism. Report taken and case closed.

North Fork girl struck with stick by neighbor while retrieving dogs
On Saturday, Nov. 4 at 1:34 p.m. a deputy was dispatched to the 53000 block of Dogwood Drive in regards to a report that, while retrieving her dogs, a girl was struck by her neighbor with a stick. Statements were collected, photos were taken, charges were forwarded to the District Attorney’s Office for review, and a report was written.

Oakhurst mental health evaluation hold
On Saturday, Nov. 4 at 3:35 p.m. a deputy was dispatched to the 47000 block of Road 620 regarding a mental health evaluation hold. Report written and case closed.
