Search For Missing Coarsegold Man

COARSEGOLD – Madera County Sheriff’s deputies and family are currently searching for a missing Coarsegold man.

According to the Sheriff’s Office, Keith Allen Bendz, 45, was reported missing on Tuesday, Apr. 25. He was last seen on the morning of Monday, Apr. 24, say family members.

Mr. Bendz is described as 5′ 8″ tall, weighing approximately 185 pounds, with a medium build, hazel eyes, and brown hair with a shaved head. He was last seen wearing an orange shirt, tan cords, and a green fleece jacket.

The Sheriff’s Office says there is no probable destination or search area for Mr. Bendz at this time, and they have no leads. The family asks that the public be on the lookout for his truck, particularly in the high country.

The truck is a 1998 Dodge Dakota, white, with a missing tailgate. Family members say the truck is more beat up than shown in the photograph.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Madera County Sheriff’s Office at (559) 658-2555, or to get in touch with his sister, Dawn Bendz, on Facebook.
