Maybe there’s time for a nap before families return to town at 5 p.m. for the spectacular lighting of the Oakhurst Community Christmas Tree in front of the Talking Bear at the corner of Highway 41 and Road 426.

Those who attend this free community event will be treated to Christmas carols and have the chance for pine cone decorating.
