Its a very sad day to see the “Met” close. The owners presented these kids with something to do other than loiter in parking lots, then getting in trouble when they did. For years, since “Danas Place” there was nothing for the kids to do. Now here they are again left with virtually nothing to do. If I was blessed enough to afford it I would certainly help out and get something for these kids.
I have been in the mountains for over 37 years now and this issue has always bothered me. Nothing for the kids to do, some are not fortunate enough to be able to afford things like skiing, or activities that are costly. So its a sad day when the only theater closes down. I just wanted to say “Thank You” to the owners for sticking it out as long as they did, what with rising costs in todays world. We will certainly miss them & “The Met.”
