COARSEGOLD – The Rivergold Hawks took some time out to honor their first quarter academic achievers, who you could say are flying high.
On the Gold Honor Roll in 8th Grade were Bryce Talbot, Madilyn Sloas, Siena Oswald, Noah Mosca, Gianna Mascola, Lily Kuykendall, Katherine Bodine and Tiffany Cacy. Wait, there’s more!
The Gold Honor Roll from 6th Grade includes Jamin Zuber, Samantha Clay, Henry Curley, Aaron Hall, Luke Fuller, Sydney Meyer, Nick Pierce, Brianna Saenz, Nina Sanguinetti, Meagan and Kyla Thomas and Natalie Sawolkow.
Lest one think it’s only the kids at Rivergold who have fun, one need look no further than this photographic evidence from Halloween, as some of the staff pays homage to a famous I Love Lucy episode where Lucy and Ethel work in a candy factory.
Lucy and Ethel, the “girls” in the candy factory, are completely inept. That’s where the resemblance to the school staff comes to a screeching halt. The staff members at Rivergold are awesome.
Meanwhile, the Rivergold PTA wants everyone to mark their calendars for Friday, Dec. 6, for Rivergold’s first in what they want to be an annual Holiday Fest. The big night will include craft booths, live and silent auction, food, entertainment, raffles, and more. Rumor has it, Santa will be there for pictures. He is surely a busy man this time of year!
