Remodel Nears Completion At Pines Resort Chalets

BASS LAKE — Changes are underway at The Pines Resort at Bass Lake as the popular Chalets are renovated with new kitchen floor plans and other upgrades that will allow the resort to reduce its impact on the environment while affording guests the best in accommodations and experience.

The Chalet kitchens are getting a complete facelift, with all-new tile or granite counter tops, new tile flooring, new cabinets, and all-new appliances, including cook stoves, refrigerators, range hoods, and microwaves. The seating areas in the kitchens will have new stools, and all-new light fixtures in the kitchens, as well as faucets in the kitchens and bathrooms, will be added.

Each Chalet will also have two new flat screen LCD televisions, along with brand new beds and bedding.

While The Pines Resort’s location in the mountains yields gorgeous views of tranquil landscapes, it can also make Wi-Fi reception a challenge. The resort’s remodel features dedicated Wi-Fi access for each Chalet.

The Pines Resort owners and management are always looking for ways to lessen the impact of the business on the natural environment that draws visitors to Bass Lake and Yosemite. That’s why they are also adding two new high-efficiency heat and air conditioning units, they say, and replacing all of the lights in the Chalets in with LED bulbs.

With  Chalets of different types, there’s an option for the perfect size accommodation and amenities for every family and guest. 51 mountain cabins each feature two queen beds, full kitchens, a private balcony, and plenty of space for larger families to relax, while a dozen lake view units offer the same amenities with a partial view of the lake.

The resort also offers 30 chalets with a king bed and sleeper sofa, full kitchen, and private balconies.

For guests who plan to eat at Ducey’s on the Lake or enjoy other local fare and don’t need a kitchen, there are three units without kitchens: one with two queen beds and a sleeper sofa that is perfect for larger families, and one with two king beds and two bathrooms. Each of the chalets are part of a duplex unit, which is a great feature for larger groups traveling together, seeking privacy but having an option to use the connecting door for family time.

The remodel project is 80 percent complete, which means that many of Chalets are already updated and ready for guests. Call The Pines Resort today to book your stay.
