There will be carving sessions, demonstrations, and seminars for all level of carvers: beginning, intermediate and advanced. There will also be crafts and programs for your tag-a-long. The event simultaneously offers many arts and craft programs such as special leather classes and pine needle basket weaving for individuals wanting to partake in the festivities. Or perhaps those accompanying you to this event would enjoy a week of rest and shopping in the beautiful central Sierra. Either way it will be a great week for everyone.

Currently, there are several different carving sessions lined up. One registration fee will allow you to attend as many sessions as you like or you may choose to spend the whole week in just one session. The choice is yours.

Registration fee for the Oakhurst Wood Carving Rendezvous is $115 for a single person, $170 per couple (same household), for the entire week. You will need to bring your own carving knives, tools and equipment. The price also includes coffee each morning, Kiwanis breakfast, a couple of dinners and a potluck on Friday night. Everyone had a great time last year, and organizers are working hard to make this event even better.
