OAKHURST – Unger and Madison are at it again! Florence Unger and Olive Madison, that is, in Neil Simon’s hilarious contemporary comic classic: the female version of The Odd Couple, premiering this week at the Golden Chain Theatre (GCT).

Instead of the poker party that begins the original version, Ms. Madison has invited the girls over for an evening of Trivial Pursuit. Olive is played by Jennifer Varner, and her uptight sidekick Flo is played by Sarah Persson. The show is directed by Peter Clarke and is rated PG. Tickets range in price from $8 to $15 each. Check the website for pricing.

The witty production is said to be a unique, entertaining, and hilarious version of the classic play that has been loved on stage and screen for so many years.

Opening Friday, August 14, The Odd Couple runs at GCT for three weekends on Fridays and Saturdays at 7 p.m., and Sunday matinees at 2 p.m. The final show runs Sunday, Aug. 30, and insiders say this is one that local theater-goers will not want to miss!

Tickets are available online at GCT: Golden Chain Theatre.
