Oakhurst Fall Festival: Delectables, Collectibles, Libations & More

Fall Fest ws sent for 2015 - YSVBOAKHURST – Set aside fun-time during the weekend of Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 10 – 11, for an outstanding annual autumnal occasion.

It’s likely to be a gorgeous blue-sky day as the Oakhurst Community Park fills with a plethora of booths offering everything from collectibles to local wine samplings, hand-crafted beers, and more at the Oakhurst Fall Festival, sponsored by Oakhurst Area Chamber of Commerce and Vulcan Materials Company. In its early days, the weekend of delights for all the senses was known as the Oakhurst Chocolate and Wine Festival; over the years the popular event has grown to encompass more than those two essential ingredients.

Fall Fest sent for 2015 southgate2_WEB“The Fall Festival showcases everything our community and our local region has to offer for visitors and locals alike, says event organizer Joelle Leder, Executive Director of the Oakhurst Area Chamber of Commerce. “We put together a truly diverse array of offerings so everyone has something to be excited about while attending the 2015 Oakhurst Fall Festival.”

Visitors are invited to sample wines from regional wineries as well as local award-winning hand -crafted beers, and shopping opportunities await with numerous local artists, craft vendors, and a silent auction. Add some live music and entertainment, special children’s activities, and car shows on both Saturday and Sunday, and you have an ideal fall weekend ahead.

Fall fest 2015Join in the community festivity for live music and entertainment on the Sierra Tel Stage on Saturday, Oct 10 as organizers feature the Jeremy “ELVIS” Pearce Concert sponsored by Central Valley Community Bank, and a Live Broadcast by 95.7 The Fox radio station, followed by Rocktherapy classic rock cover band.

On Sunday, Oct. 10, it’s the Dave Henderson Band, sponsored by Yosemite Bank. For auto enthusiasts, the Car Show in the Park is back for both days, thanks to sponsor Bodys by Boyd Collision Repair Center.

This family-friendly venue offers a wide variety of children’s activities including a petting zoo, face painting, story time with Curious George, bounce houses and miniature horse rides.

The Oakhurst Fall Festival runs from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. both Saturday and Sunday. Admission is just $2; tickets for beer and wine tastings are only $1. Tickets are available for purchase online.

Oakhurst Community Park is located at 49074 Civic Circle Drive in Oakhurst, adjacent to the Oakhurst Community College near Hwy 41 and Hwy 49.
