NORTH FORK – The North Fork Boosters are hosting their annual Citizen of the Year Dinner this Saturday, Feb. 21, at the Town Hall.
Last year’s winner, Mark Logee, along with wife Kathy, will be orchestrating a pasta dinner with a salad bar featuring greens from the Kern Family Farm.
Hansel Kern was the 2012 Citizen of the Year, and will soon be opening a storefront along North Fork’s main street.
This year’s nominees are:
Dan Rosenberg
Ava Thiesen
Janet Wheeler
Roger Robinette
Doors open for the festivities at 5:30, and dinner service begins at 6 p.m. The awards ceremony will get underway at 7 p.m., hosted as usual by District 5 Supervisor and long-time North Fork resident Tom Wheeler.
Cost for the evening is just $10, and the Booster’s bar will be open. Everyone is invited to enjoy an evening with friends and neighbors, and celebrate those in the community who contribute so much.
The Boosters will also be hosting a Bingo Night on Tuesday, Mar. 3, at the Town Hall with food, snacks, soda, cash and prizes. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. A $20 ticket buys you 9 cards with 6 games each. Must be 18 to play. For advance tickets call 559-877-2267 or email northforkboosters@gmail.com.
