OAKHURST – An ill-advised left turn onto Royal Oaks Drive this afternoon caused damage to two vehicles on Highway 41.
Adrienne LaFarge, 64, of San Mateo, was southbound on Highway 41 in a 2013 Hyundai when, according to CHP Officer Tomazian, she “violated the right of way” of a vehicle headed northbound.
Michael Kim, 67, of Oakhurst, was northbound on the same road in a green Subaru, when LaFarge crossed in front of him in her attempt to turn onto Royal Oaks. Kim was unable to stop before colliding with the right rear of the Hyundai.
The engine from Madera County Fire Station #12 responded to the scene, along with Sierra Ambulance, but no one was transported for treatment.
The accident happened just before 5 p.m. on Wednesday, Apr. 10.
