New Year’s Eve Fireworks at Bass Lake

BASS LAKE — In just a little over two weeks, the sky at Bass Lake will be illuminated by a spectacular firework show to celebrate the New Year.

Generous donations made by the owners of the Pines Resort and other businesses have made it all possible.

“Fireworks are always a major hit,” says Mark Choe, Sales & Marketing Director at the Pines Resort. “We couldn’t imagine our New Year’s Eve celebration without them. Our guests are not the only ones that truly enjoy them; many local families come to the Lake that night to enjoy a free firework show.”

Just like in years past, the owners of the Pines Resort and Ducey’s on the Lake are making sure that entire families can get together and safely ring in the new year at the Lake.

The evening of activities starts with a free family-friendly magic show by Kenny B, which takes place during lunch at Ducey’s Bar & Grill.

“Our New Year’s Eve Magic Shows became really popular, and we were seeing a great response from our local families,” says Ducey’s Manager Tony Diaz. “We want to make sure we can accommodate more people this year, so we’ve scheduled two magic shows on New Year’s Eve.”

The magic shows will take place at the Bar & Grill at 1 and 4 p.m., with a regular Bar & Grill menu and Kids Menu available. Reservations can be made online at www.thePinesResort.eventbrite.com. Any questions, please call (559) 642-3131.

As is tradition, Executive Chef Johnathan Frabotta will present a four course New Year’s Eve Dinner at Ducey’s on the Lake from 4 to 10 p.m. A limited, three course Sunset Menu will be also be available from 4 to 6 p.m.

Scrumptious Roasted Wild Mushroom and Goat Cheese Tartlets, Filet and Lobster, and Mary’s Roasted Chicken Breast with Seasonal Veggies are just a few of the items on the menu this year. Make sure to call in for reservations at (559) 642-2585 ext.444, as the seating is pre-arranged and Ducey’s will not be serving their regular menu on that day.

In the evening, let’s party like it’s 1980 at one of their New Year’s Eve Parties in the Lakeview Room or in the Pines Bar. Live Music will be provided by the Niteflite Band and Max Headroom (Pines Bar).

Guests will be able to enjoy appetizers, snacks, photo booths, and party favors, as well as a spectacular fireworks finale with a champagne toast at midnight. Cost to attend is $15 per person for each party. Lakeview Room reservations can be made online at www.NYEatBassLake.eventbrite.com.

All details, menus, and prices can be found on the web site, www.basslake.com, as well as on their Facebook page, www.facebook.com/pinesresort.

“We hope to see you at the Lake as we celebrate the start of 2017!”
