MIDPINES – Prepare to look your Sinatra-style best and show some sassy moves on the dance floor, as the folks at Mountain Crisis Services invite all to their annual fundraiser on Saturday, Feb. 7 at the Yosemite Bug Rustic Mountain Resort in Midpines.
They’ve got a lot of fifties-themed excitement in store at the event they’re calling “Come Dance with Me: Step Back in Time with the Rat Pack.”
John Cardenas and the Wise Guys Trio will offer an evening of diamond-grade entertainment.
The show is a tribute to yesteryear, including jazz, standards and blues from the time when men and women dressed up to dine out and sip cocktails, and listen to great music with a 
chance for a dance.
Off the dance floor, be on the lookout for tasty appetizers, delightful martinis, flowing wine, and a “chocolate reception,” capped off with a costume contest you can tip your Fedora to.
Here’s something else worth writing home about: those who bring and donate a bottle of wine will be given a free raffle ticket. The lucky winner of the raffle brings home all the wine!
Organizers are also busy planning a Silent Auction, and remind guests to stop by the photo area that night to commemorate the fun.
