Minarets Presents Arsenic & Old Lace in North Fork

NORTH FORK – Get ready for a play the New York Times once said was “so funny we would never forget it.” Now, a murderously talented bunch of Minarets High School players are madly rehearsing to present Arsenic and Old Lace on Friday and Saturday, Apr. 10 – 11, on stage at the North Fork Town Hall.

Both nights, the show starts at 7 p.m.

The cost to attend this classic dark romp of a play is $5 for students and $8 for adults. For an additional cost, the audience is invited to enjoy a spaghetti dinner before the show. Dinner runs from 5:45 p.m. – 6:45 p.m. and costs $7. Bar and desserts will also be available for a price.

Arsenic and Old Lace, written by Joseph Kesselring in 1939, is a farcical black comedy about the Brewster family, descendents of the Mayflower who now revel in homicidal insanity, much to the delight of anyone who gets a chance to see the show. Don’t miss it!

Pictured are Jesse Weinert, Savannah Nelson, Mallory Landon, Savie Luce, Sydney Johnson, Zemi Stacy, Joseph Deal, Jeff Tobey, Jonah Baird, and Ryan McDougald.
