Minarets Art Teacher Receives $3K Grant

O’NEALS — Minarets art teacher Jillian Gamble was awarded an Adopt-a-Teacher grant by the Madera County Schools Foundation, the first of its kind. Granville Homes donated $3,000 to be used in Gamble’s art classes throughout the year.

“Ms. Gamble will have the necessary funds to supplement her classes with essential tools and supplies to create art projects with numerous students throughout the school year,” says Cyndy Dolph.

Dolph is the Associate Superintendent for Madera County Office of Education and also a Madera County Schools Foundation board member. “Students will have a greater understanding of art and its importance because of the additional resources offered to them.”

David Hernandez, president of Madera County Schools Foundation awarded Gamble the grant.
