Mariposa Storytelling Festival Welcomes David Novak

MARIPOSA — Making his fourth appearance at the Mariposa County Arts Council’s Storytelling Festival, gifted storyteller David Novak just had to be part of producer/ director, Marilyn Rudzik’s line-up for the 30th Mariposa Storytelling Festival’s Grand Finale Celebration, scheduled for Mar. 10 – 12.

Come join David and our five other master storytellers for an unforgettable Finale Party of captivating stories, music, laughter, and wonderful, warm and relaxing fun, as we put this gem of a festival to bed.

Now finishing a two-week storytelling tour in China, David — an award-winning storyteller, author and actor — has performed on the main stage at the nation’s and the world’s top storytelling festivals, captivating thousands of children in classrooms around the country. A former Master Storyteller for the Disney Institute, David’s love of storytelling in inescapable.

Friday and Saturday’s events take place at Mariposa County High School; Sunday’s Pancake Brunch and Grand Finale Stories will be held at the Mariposa Senior Center.
